Journey into the Armada

Every build we do is an expression of it’s owner, with no two builds the same. Machina owners are passionate. Passionate about boating, passionate about detail, and passionate about quality and craftsmanship.

From your first conversation with a Machina specialist, we work with you to shape a boat genuinely tailored to how you want to use the water.

There’s no rush to lock anything in. The commissioning phase can take as long as it needs to – to make sure the brief is right, the chemistry is right, and that Machina Peritia is the right fit for you. Email, instant messaging, video calls or in-person workshop visits – we’ll use whatever mix of contact suits you best and keep the process as straightforward as possible.

To explore what this might look like for you, get in touch in whichever way feels most natural to you here.

The Armada

Machina Boats 551 and 661 models beach launching at beach in East Coast New Zealand. Aluminium pontoon boats, made in Hawkes Bay New Zealand, NZ

From the moment your build contract is signed, you’re part of the Machina Armada.
As an owner, you have direct access to our team and a thorough, hands-on handover process – from system walkthroughs and sea trials to real-world setup and refinement. Our support doesn’t stop at delivery; we stay engaged to help you get the most out of your Machina Peritia in the way you actually use it.

Owner Involvement

We’re here to bring your vision to life. How closely you’re involved is entirely up to you – whether you prefer to hand us creative freedom or stay engaged right down to the stitching and switchgear.

Our approach is collaborative. We’ll guide you with specialist advice, challenge ideas where it improves the outcome, and align every decision with how you actually intend to use the boat. Workshop visits are welcomed and encouraged throughout the build, so you can see your Machina Peritia taking shape and feel absolute confidence in the final result.

Provenance & Delivery

At handover, every Machina Peritia commission is accompanied by a personalised ownership set. This includes a machined identification plate noting the year of manufacture and owner name, an owner-only leather key tag, select Machina apparel, and a custom-designed poster of your boat – a quiet record of the commission and the people it was built for.
